How to use Click Counter Online
This browser-based counter turns each deliberate click, key press, or tap into a running total. Use it as a manual counter for everyday tasks, with no download and no sign-up required. Your total counts the selected step size; the speed display measures input actions.
Click the large pad, press Space, or use + Increment to add the selected step. Use − Decrement to correct a total and Undo to reverse the last action. Keyboard shortcuts pause while you type in an input or focus a control.
Set a goal to see progress toward a target. The top bar shows recent clicks per second, session pace, elapsed time, and the current total. Speed measures input actions rather than units: pressing once with step 10 adds ten to the total but records one action.
The history table shows the latest 30 entries, and up to 100 recent entries are retained after a reload. Export CSV before resetting if you need a copy of your session. Need a simpler interface? Try the digital tally counter, or use multiple counters for separate categories.
Click counter, tally counter, or speed test?
Use the main counter for adjustable steps and goals, the tally for large plus and minus buttons, and the multi-counter board for separate totals. Short speed tests measure your clicking or spacebar pace. Copy or export important results before clearing browser data.
Mouse and touch counting
Use the main pad as a mouse click counter on a computer or a touch counter on a phone. Each press adds your chosen step. As an increment counter, it supports batches of 1, 5, 10, 50, or 100; the decrement counter control subtracts the same amount when you need to correct a total.
For longer sessions, use the fullscreen counter to give the total more room. A counter with goals helps you track progress toward a target, while the counter with CSV export lets you keep a copy of recent counting history.
Keyboard counting and timed tests
Prefer a keyboard counter? Space, Enter, and Up Arrow add to the main total. Open the spacebar counter for dedicated key counting or a timed spacebar speed test.
Use the CPS test as a clicks per second test to measure your pace over a fixed duration. This click speed test offers 1, 5, 10, 30, and 60 second sessions. A timed score answers a different question from an ongoing total: how quickly can you click during that interval?
Simple tallies and separate totals
Choose the online tally counter for large plus and minus controls. This digital tally counter is useful for repetitive counting when you want a clear total and space for notes.
For several categories, open multiple click counters. Give each tally a name and its own step size to keep separate totals for teams, products, or observations.
Everyday counting tasks
An inventory counter helps you count items on a shelf: choose a batch size that matches your packs, then correct loose items individually. As an attendance counter, the same tool can record each arrival at a class or event.
Use a repetition counter for completed exercise sets, practice drills, or repeated observations. For event counting, agree on what counts as one entry before starting so everyone records the same thing. Export important totals before clearing browser data.

Ways to use your online counter
INVENTORY & STOCK AUDITS
Conduct rapid physical inventory checks and warehouse counts. Adjust step increments (+5, +10, +50, +100) to batch count pallets or cartons and export timestamped records to CSV.
EVENT & OCCUPANCY ATTENDANCE
Monitor guest admissions, conference foot traffic, or venue capacity limits with single-tap counting and optional target alerts. Verify important totals independently.
GAMING & SPEED BENCHMARKING
Open the CPS test to compare clicking sessions, or use the spacebar tool to practice keyboard speed. Choose the same duration for each attempt so the results are easier to compare.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is Click Counter Online free to use?+
Yes. This online click counter is free and requires no sign-up or download. Count with a mouse, touch, or keyboard, choose steps of 1, 5, 10, 50, or 100, and set a target goal. View recent actions and export history to CSV. Separate tools provide timed speed tests, multiple named counters, and a digital tally.
Can I count using the spacebar or keyboard shortcuts?+
Yes. You can press the Spacebar, Enter key, or Up Arrow key to increment the counter, Down Arrow or "-" to decrement, "R" to reset, "M" to toggle sound profiles, and "F" for fullscreen distraction-free counting.
Does this tool save my count if I close or refresh the browser?+
Your count, step, target, sound preference, and latest 100 history entries are saved in the current browser when localStorage is available. Clearing site data or ending a private session may remove them. Export important records before leaving.
How is a click counter different from a CPS test?+
A mouse click counter keeps a running total for as long as you need. A click speed test measures how many clicks you make within a set duration. Use the main counter for ongoing counting and the dedicated CPS test for timed results.
Can I use a tap counter on my phone?+
Yes. Tap the large counting pad on a touchscreen to add to your total. This mobile click counter works in your browser, so you can count items on a phone or tablet without installing an app.
What are the different sound profiles available?+
Choose Machined Switch, Heavy Mechanical, Bubble Acoustic, Precision Chirp, or Mute. Sounds are generated in your browser and depend on device volume and browser audio support.
Is my data private and secure?+
Counting runs in your browser. We do not transmit or store your counts on external servers, with tallies saved in the current browser. Hosting and external services are described in our Privacy Policy.
